| The Basement Generals, from northern New Jersey, formed in the spring of 2009. The band is a 4-piece consisting of veteran musicians from other New Jersey bands, including Newton Crosby, The Brainbox, The Paul Holda Band, Transgressor; plus Jam/improv nightclub Mexicali Live's lighting director, Jeff Volks on drums. Influenced by the Grateful Dead, Phish, moe., Disco Biscuits and all things improvisational, the band plays exciting, experimental jam rock. EPK |
