| The 8 songs on the debut album from the Basement Generals started taking shape in early 2009, and became polished from high energy live shows at local NJ clubs and regional festivals between 2010 and 2011. Influenced by moe., Disco Biscuits, Phish and the Grateful Dead, "Of Worthy Intentions" was recorded from March 2011 thru May 2011 at the band's own DCS Studios in Montville NJ, in the basement of the house where they frequently jam and experiment sonically... The album was then mixed from May thru June 2011 and released on Dreamatic Records (the band's own small DIY label) on July 16, 2011. |
